The cost of therapy in the UK
Art therapy fees can vary, but the typical cost for a private session ranges from £40 to £80 per hour in the UK, and group sessions from £30 to £45 per individual. This covers the therapist’s registration, professional training, supervision, ongoing professional development, art materials and resources, including physical and virtual spaces, and the time spent preparing for and delivering sessions.
We understand that these costs can be a barrier for many, which is why we offer a pay what you can option. This ensures that no one is turned away from receiving support due to financial limitations.
Benefits of the ‘pay what you can’ option
Our 'pay what you can' model makes therapy available to everyone, no matter their financial situation. Whether you can pay the full price or a smaller amount, your contribution is just as important. Sometimes, donations or full-price payments from others help cover the cost for those who can't afford it.
